The GS/GSA association organizes a camping weekend for the whole family. Members of foreign GS clubs are also welcome. Don’t miss it, we’ll make it a fun weekend with GS/GSA enthusiasts together.
Program
On Saturday we will drive a short 60km tour through the beautiful landscape of Twente, where we will visit a number of architectural highlights from the 1970s and finally cross the German border for a visit to the Rock en Pop museum. On Saturday evening we organize a BBQ. We spend the night at a campsite in the Netherlands near Enschede. The GS or GSA may stand here next to the tent or caravan. A field has been reserved for us for the night from Saturday to Sunday. Arrival on Friday or departure on Monday is also possible. Fresh sandwiches for Sunday morning can be ordered in advance at the campsite
The campsite is also located near the beautiful nature reserve ‘Buursezand’, where you can enjoy walking and close to the recreational lake ‘het Rutbeek’. The campsite is equipped with various play equipment for the children, excellent sanitary facilities, a shop with basic necessities, and a real takeaway chip shop.
1970s tour
The tour on Saturday departs from Delden. From 10:00 there is a reception with coffee and krentewegge. The tour can be run individually or in groups.
The tour takes us on winding roads through a beautiful landscape and past a number of experimental housing forms from around 1970. We conclude the tour in the Pop & Rock museum in Gronau. Inside, a fascinating journey through the different themes and periods of Pop music awaits us.
Classic car meeting
On Sunday morning we visit a brand-independent Oldtimer car meeting just across the border at Bentheim Castle, the largest high-altitude castle in northwestern Germany. We depart from the campsite around 9:30 am.
Costs
The costs for the tour including coffee, krentewegge, a visit to the pop & rock museum and a cozy BBQ are €30 per person.
Overnight stay with GS/GSA + hiker’s tent €12.50 per night. Incl electricity, excl. Tourist tax.
Overnight stay with GS/GSA + Caravan and max.4 pers. €22.50 per night.

Eur 30pp, please send to: NL90INGB0002719444 in the name of: Citroën GS/GSA Vereniging Nederland, stating: Camping weekend + your name. Your registration is only final after payment for the tour has been received by our treasurer. Information about payment of the campsite and further details will follow via email.
